Linda Herbert has been painting original acrylics on canvas for years now. She loves to paint cotton fields and other nature-inspired imagery in her home-based studio in downtown McKinney, Texas. Also an accomplished musician she has composed a few beautiful music pieces that emote the sounds of nature. How She Got Here

“My inspirations come from God’s majesty all around us. I love to capture sunlight cascading through the clouds with magnificent colors of the ever-changing sky. The gracefulness of trees has always intrigued me. It’s truly a gift to paint the wonders of nature through rich tones of oils and the softness and flow of watercolors using acrylics. My hope is that you can see His glorious creation all around us through my paintings. “I will meditate on the glorious splendor of your majesty and your wondrous works.” Psalm 145: 5”
